Bayview United Gaming is a video game social club designed for underserved and low income High School Youth in San Francisco's Bayview District.
Our Mission is to get youth excited about Technology through Gaming while giving them exposure to creative pathways through Career and College Prep outlets.
Bayview United Gaming (B.U.G.) was founded in 2021 when CEO and Co Founder Javier Reyes met with two High School at 100% College Prep. They all shared a collective vision to have an Esports/Gaming presence for youth in the Bayview District. The group applied for a YFYI (Youth Funding Youth Ideas) Grant to create a drop in Gaming Social Club. They were able to secure $10k and B.U.G. was born.
Our Vision is for our students to not only see themselves as just consumers for the Video Game Industry, but also stakeholders, developers and creators as well.
