Bayview, San Francisco –– The Bayview Game Fest is set to take place on Saturday,March 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bayview opera House. This groundbreaking event will bring together youth, industry professionals, and community-leaders to celebrate culture, empowerment, and opportunity through Gaming andEsports. Bayview Game Fest is a collaboration between B.U.G., Game Changers Initiative and Compumind Community Foundation.
Bayview Game Fest seeks to address this gap by offering an immersive, community-driven experience where Black and Brown youth can engage in competitive gaming, educational workshops, and professional networking opportunities.
B.U.G. MONTHLY GAMING LOUNGE
Every Second Saturday of the month, B.U.G. hosts a citywide Gaming Social Lounge. Youth are able to network and meet other gamers from across the city while building connection and bonding.
During our lounge time, students get taught different life skill lessons, participate in causal tournaments and collaborate on various B.U.G. projects.
DORM ROOM/GAME ROOM
Coming Soon. A collaboration with 100% College Prep, "Dorm Room/Game Room" is an afterschool workshop aimed at preparing youth for key aspects of college life, with a strong emphasis on social interaction.
The program covers a variety of topics through open, group-based discussions in a supportive and inclusive environment. By facilitating open-circle conversations, Dorm Room/Game Room helps students engage in meaningful dialogue, fostering the development of critical social and emotional skills.
