Wilson Gi is a dedicated mentor, educator, and student advocate committed to empowering youth through mentorship, education, and community engagement. His journey began with Village Life, a grassroots organization where he mentored young people through sports, video games, outdoor excursions, and faith-based teachings, fostering a sense of family and camaraderie. For the past two years, Wilson has been a class lead at Bayview United Gaming (B.U.G.), using video games as a platform to teach Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) with a focus on manhood, brotherhood, and leadership. Through interactive workshops and discussions, he helps high school students develop life skills, confidence, and a sense of purpose. In addition to his role at B.U.G., Wilson serves as a student advocate with The Richmond Neighborhood Center, where he works closely with school staff and students to set academic and personal goals, provide mental health check-ins, and connect youth with essential resources. Drawing from his San Francisco upbringing, background in the trades, and leadership experience, Wilson is passionate about equipping young people with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive in school, careers, and life.
Barry Graves Jr. is a San Francisco-based screenwriter, actor, filmmaker, and podcast host dedicated to telling powerful, thought-provoking stories. As the great-grandson of the first African American judge and the eldest of 24 cousins and siblings, he carries a deep sense of legacy and responsibility in his work. He is the writer of Mom N Me, a television script inspired by Kevin Hart’s childhood, and the co-founder of PoBoy Films, a creative collective committed to producing compelling visual stories. Barry is also the creator and host of The Black Man’s Heart, a podcast that fosters candid conversations about personal growth, fatherhood, and virtuous manhood. At Bayview United Gaming (B.U.G.), he brings his expertise in storytelling and media to inspire young people, helping to develop creative programs that use gaming as a tool for education, mentorship, and self-expression. Through his work, Barry empowers youth to explore the connections between creativity, technology, and personal growth while using storytelling to build a stronger, more connected community.

Javier Reyes is a proud San Francisco native, an artist, educator, and youth advocate with over 20 years of experience designing transformative programs for underserved communities. As the Founder of Colored Ink, an award-winning hip-hop theater group, he has leveraged the arts as a powerful tool for advocacy, therapy, and social change. As the Founder & Executive Director of Bayview United Gaming (B.U.G.), Javier hosts a videogame social club that inspires high school students in San Francisco’s Bayview District to explore STEM fields, higher education, and career pathways through gaming. His innovative approach bridges gaming, education, and community building, creating a safe and engaging space for youth to connect, learn, and grow. Through his work at B.U.G., Javier continues to empower young people to embrace their potential, pursue their dreams, and become leaders in their communities—all while redefining how gaming can drive educational and social impact.
